Or at least I used to be.


It's a topic for a future Boidem column, but not for this concerted effort to bring this overview to a close. Still, a couple of sentences can't hurt.

I still think of myself as an avid reader, but in keeping with Jakob Nielsen's comment that people don't read on the web, perhaps I should find some other word to describe myself. After all, the vast majority of my reading is of web pages, or of printed out web pages when there's something that I want to sit down with quietly. I suppose that over the past two years I've read about six or seven books for my own personal pleasure, and hopefully, once this project is out of the way, I'll be able to devote some time to catching up on the ever-lengthening list of books that I'd like to read.
