Ho hum, another hyperlink.
It should be obvious that for me linking is ubiquitous and essentially non-partisan.
Basically it's an act of consideration, a way of making life easier for anyone
who might be reading a page we've posted. But though it seems to me that linking
should be a standard part of our reading lives,
with no particular value attached to it, it's hard not to get the feeling that
for many it still carries excess baggage wherever it appears, it still gets looked
upon as strange and exotic, and often suspect.
