There's always something new that has to be worked on, an idea begging to be developed, a rushed job that really can't wait. Why take the time to throw out the earlier versions of an article I've just finished writing? After all, there's enough space on the hard drive, isn't there?

I enjoy washing dishes. It gives me time to think. But it's also a job that has to be done. If I don't wash them the sink is going to be full, and we won't have plates to eat off of, or cups to drink from. Cleaning up my hard drive is a different matter entirely.

Space I've got. It's time I need.
