More, more. I'm still not satisfied.
It seems that in only about half of the approximately 120 times that that phrase
shows up on the web it's attributed to Tom Lehrer's classic (1960s) song Smut.
The others may have a different source that's not familiar to me, or they simply
may not know the source. It doesn't really matter. Anyway, I'm only using it here
as a title for a page, a page that recalls the famous adage that showed up in
e-mails, on T-shirts, on bumperstickers, and who knows where else (though for
some reason only rarely on the web):
He who dies with the most RAM wins.
To my mind it seems to rather succinctly define an era.
