I didn't copy it. Really.

I've done this before, though the first time was more of an experiment. Back then I simply wanted to demonstrate that the page I was presenting wasn't only my own - in addition to my own writing, it contained information borrowed from another site.

This time I'm borrowing because I don't want to get into a rough spot with The New Yorker which, if I read their terms of use correctly, rather understandably doesn't want me to take what's theirs without their permission. So please believe me, I haven't copied this cartoon, and a copy of it isn't sitting on the server of this site. I've simply linked to the spot in The New Yorker site where the cartoon appears and given it instructions to appear here as well. It's a nice trick, though I seem to recall that courts of law haven't smiled on this sort of practice.
