It wasn't so long ago that ordering a pizza via the web wasn't feasible. Today, it's done all the time. But we still expect someone to ring our doorbell and deliver, not have it jump out from the screen onto the table.



The pace of the integration of numerous technologies into a single unit suggests that the day when a GPS inside our computer will make a geographically specific search for a pizza, which will then be ordered from the closest location that meets our specifications, and promptly delivered, isn't at all far off.
