Someone has probably conducted research into this topic, but it wasn't me. I can't really tell whether most people approach death with acceptance or with resistance. I'm not really sure it matters. If we're looking for someone to convince us of the preferable way to go, however, it would probably be difficult to find a better argument than Dylan Thomas's Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night.
