A collective ritual.

The caption (on the CD) reads:
Kherut's election broadcasts
with the "Shahid" jingle disqualified for broadcast.

Almost nothing binds like being part of an outlaw sect. Thus possessing a disk that contains a banned jingle is a way of identifying yourself as belonging to the group. When we pass the disk on to our friends we hope to initiate them into the same group. There's nothing distinct or different about the digital version of this sort of ritual, except perhaps the ease with which we're able to initiate others.
