Yes, I suppose that a good case could have been made for watching "The Blair Witch Project" on television instead of taking care of more pressing business. I take a "professional" interest in issues such as the ways media confuse reality and fiction, and I even referred to the movie about a year and a half ago in these pages. But quite frankly I wasn't very interested in seeing it. In this particular case knowing about the film seemed to be more than enough for my needs.
