I've made my peace with this.

The fact that I leave a digital trail that someone might be able to follow isn't an issue that disturbs me. It's not that I don't have anything to hide - I assume that just about everybody who lives in today's world probably does - but that I've learned that very few people are going to be looking for what I may have left behind, and that being the case, it's easiest to simply continue on with my life as though nobody is lurking. But come to think of it, how we live our lives, knowing full well that there ain't no use to hide, ain't no need to run in the digital wasteland, is a fitting topic for (here comes a favorite phrase of mine) a future column.
