My cup runneth dry?

In the past I've noted that as the internet has become more and more part of the mainstream of our culture there's less and less of real interest to write about it. Yes, changes take place. Changes both in my own take on a particular topic, and in the way our culture relates to them offer new opportunities to tackle an old subject. It's possible, for instance, to write about home pages six years ago and to do so again today and actually have something distinct to write that hadn't been written already. But even so, how many topics are there out there?
