A popular Hebrew phrase that describes the efforts someone devotes to the various tasks he or she has to accomplish holds that someone "labors nights like days" in order to get the job done. That's the phrase. Most of us, however, rarely listen to what we ourselves say, and more often than not someone will tell us that he or she has "labored days like nights" in pursuit of getting the job done. I've been known to sleep during the day, so perhaps I'm not really the right person for making good on the phrase, but still, there's something almost comforting in knowing that we can relax all the time and still be thought to be making an effort.
