Mandiberg put up Freyer's item #000633 for sale on his site. I figured that a Google search on that number might bring up the further adventures of the item. Though that particular number shows up numerous times on the web (is there any number that doesn't? that might be worth checking, though I don't know how to go about doing so, or why), it shows up only once when crossed with Mandiberg or Freyer. That one time is on a page in Dutch. Babel Fish doesn't translate from Dutch to English so I had to show the page to someone I know who reads the language. She informed me what I had already guessed. I'd found an article about the "sell your life on the web" phenomenon in Dutch, and the author, like myself, had found it interesting that Mandiberg had sold something he'd bought from Freyer. Still, there's hope that the new buyer will, sometime, continue the chain.
