Actually, most of the time things work as they should.

I readily admit that difficulties with my computer and with my internet connection give me material for writing these columns, but I don't want to create a false impression. Much of the time (not counting the crashes which we've sadly all learned to live with) I don't really have reason to complain. Considering, however, that this present problem has been around for a couple of months, and that the last time I took used a similar problem as the starting point for a column was half a year ago, I suppose that it really is time for a new computer.
