A bit of nostalgia.

I don't know how many companies produce table salt in the United States, but for me, and I suppose for everyone else whom I grew up around, there was only one kind: Morton's. I can only remember one incarnation of the Morton's Salt girl, but in her long and glorious history she's gone through a number of them, as has the phrase which, for me at least, will always be associated with her. That motto may have totally replaced a much older proverb as the accepted version of the phrase, to the point at which we assume that it's the wording that's always been around.

Go to: When it rains, it pours, or
Go to: The Promise of Ubiquitous Access.
