Keeping up.
Computers tend to become obsolete on their way home from the store
where they were purchased. But though they may be the most commonly recognized
example of technological development, these abound in our culture. And
though toothbrushes may be a comic example, in the last year I've seen
new models on display which make my standard model seem like an archeological
artifact.
