Ever seen a personal television?

Many homes today have more than one television, and I suppose that it won't be long before each member of a family will have his/her own television in his/her own room. But even when this will be the case, it seems to me that these will be "individual" televisions, rather than "personal" ones. I suppose that it might makes sense for each user/owner to change the defaults on his/her television to his/her own viewing habits. (Eitan, for instance, would probably program all the sports channels to be next to one another, and thus not have to scan through other stuff of negligible interest in order to find what he wants.) But beyond this particular, and rather insignificant, idiosyncracy, most televisions would still remain primarily the same. Someone visiting someone else's home/room wouldn't feel as though s/he were intruding on private space by switching channels. If you're visiting my home feel free to sit and watch. But please, don't take a tour of my hard disk.

Hey! Now that's an idea!
