What do you like doing best in the world?

How many times have I quoted this passage? I won't even count the ways. I guess I've used it countless times, but I always find some reason to return to it. It's from Chapter Ten of The House at Pooh Corner. I intended to link here to a web copy of the book, but the link from my bookmarks is no longer functional, and there doesn't seem to be another copy of the book anywhere in cyberspace. Sorry: Maybe it's inevitable that our expectations of web sites exceed what they actually deliver. Maybe expectations of that sort are simply in our nature. But I wouldn't discount the possibility that most state of the art web sites are simply wonderful examples of the facade acting as a replacement for content.
