Using cyberspace to increase productivity

It's a very simple idea, and I certainly wasn't the first to think of it, though I certainly have had the opportunity. There I am, teaching a course to teachers on how to use the internet and I'm simply not getting anywhere - the basics of clicking seem to be beyond them, let alone typing a correct URL in the location window. And then someone hits on playboy.com. Like wildfire, word spreads, and all of a sudden they all know how to click, and where to type the address.

So I guess that when CEOs bemoan the loss of productive work hours that result from having their employees online, they should take into consideration the low learning curve which the urge to find "interesting and relevant" information on the internet promotes.
