Still no takes on that request...

Last year's column for November was uploaded on the same date - a date well enbedded in the memory of anyone American born of my generation. I think it was in that column that I started examining the interactive possibilities of the Boidem, but since there were no responses to the request that I made then, perhaps it's also correct to say that over the past year I've become distinctly aware of the gap between the possibilities and their realization. In other words, there were no takes on my offer.

So now, a year later, on the same date, I'm renewing that offer. Here's your opportunity to earn your small byte of cyberspace by telling your own personal vignette about that day. I'll link whatever gets sent to this column. There's no obligation here - this column can continue as a one-way conduit from me to my five readers without any harm done. But on the other hand it wouldn't hurt if a bit more interactivity entered into it.

Feel free to report: where I was on that day.
