Are we really sure it wouldn't interest anybody?

One of the ongoing themes of the Boidem is, or at least has become, the disconnect between the fact that the internet and digitality have become essential parts of our lives, and the seeming indifference that we exhibit toward these fascinating phenomena. I often find myself scratching my head and wondering why so many people seem to take such little interest in the ways that our lives are changed by them, while also becoming enthused by things that are actually only surface changes. But the fact that I'm aware of this disconnect doesn't mean that I wouldn't like us to overcome it, and I try to do my small part to show how these issues not only affect our lives, but also that they merit being examined - even if for no other reason than that they're fun.
