A blessing for the rhythmically challenged.

A 2015 New York Times article on silent discos gives a good overview of the phenomenon. In an attempt to be balanced it brings the opinions both of those who love these discos and those who don't get it. It also quotes a participant:

"When I'm home, people tell me I have no rhythm. But I can do anything here." In other words, who can tell if it's bad rhythm or she's just dancing to a different beat?
In other words, if people laugh at your ineptitude on the dance floor, just tell them that you're dancing to the beat of a different drummer.
