So I'm jealous. So what?

Numerous times in the past, upon quoting something that seems to me to be particularly perceptive (and well put), I've written something along the lines of "I wish I'd written that". And I have no doubt that I've thought that considerably more often than I've actually written it. I encountered Carr's reaction to Pichai's quote (which he apparently also found via Manjoo) considerably after I'd read Manjoo's article. But he not only hit the nail on the head, he almost made this entire column superfluous.
