Not really a privacy issue.

Apprehension toward Google's ability to know just about everything about us (because we've let it) abounds. The release of Buzz, and a rather nonchalant attitude toward how we identify our friends brought this concern, again, to the fore. There's no doubt that there's reason to be concerned, but I tend to think that Google's infringements on our privacy stem less from a disregard for privacy issues, than from the almost childlike thrill the company seems to exhibit in being able to know things about us. Earlier this month The Onion gave classic expression to this attitude.
