I've been asking for that!

Numerous times in the past I've noted that for me the ultimate "operating system" is my email account. I'm constantly sending notes to myself, and use my mail as my bookmark repository, and more. When Google Notebook was still around I was hoping that it would be integrated into gmail so that I'd be able to organize the various snippets that I save in the same place that I access my mail. I have numerous "drafts" that are simply additions to items I've sent myself - these serve as threaded notes. (I don't like the idea of "drafts" and thus prefer to send items to myself, but a category of "notes" in gmail would be very nice.) Because all of what I've got in my Google account is searchable, "organizing" related items is simple. All this suggests that creating Buzz not as a separate entity but as a part of gmail was, to my mind, a correct decision on Google's part, but I'd prefer more integration of items that I use more frequently.
