Doctors, on the other hand, may see this a bit differently. Larry, for instance, writes:
It is not uncommon for the patient to come to his or her medical visit with a stack of computer output. Unfortunately, these searches may have been about a more severe form of the disease, or to a remedy that would be considered alternative. This means that perhaps too large a part of an already short medical visit gets used up trying to explain why the search results don't apply.
And I'm sure he has a point there.
