Actually, maybe quite a few things.
Analog fanatics not withstanding, digital storage seems to be a better
means of saving sounds, and probably of smells as well, though the technology
for doing so doesn't seem to have advanced much since real strides toward digitizing
smells were taken about a decade ago. I wouldn't be surprised if children's schoolwork
can be better saved digitally than as hard copy, if for no other reason than the
desire of many a mother to attend to spring cleaning. Work stored away on a hard
drive has a better chance of surviving the onslaught of a cleaning binge than
do projects on paper.
