Got it!

I remember Sontag's book well. I read some of the essays that make up the book when they were first published in the New York Review of Books, and I hurried out to purchase the first paperback edition from 1978. Though of course I had to skim through it, and read numerous passages, to truly refresh my memory, what I really needed was to be able to hold it in my hands. Luckily, it was in the fourth box that I opened, meaning that I needed only about five minutes to find it. Over the past three years I've glanced countless times at the bookshelf in front of me. I wonder whether, not finding Sontag's book on the shelf, my thoughts developed differently than had I seen it.
