We are what we remember.
Memory is, of course, a central aspect of identity. People who suffer memory loss
also lose an essential part of their being. But, fascinating as that topic may
be, I'm a total amateur when it comes to memory research. What interests me here
is the new situation that arises from our ability to preserve everything digitally.
In other words, what happens to us when we never have to forget.
