Isn't that what they were supposed to do?


Perhaps I was writing for the wrong audience. For some strange reason, I expect that someone who wants to examine the subject of the use of the internet in the learning process will also be actively involved in honing his or her information literacy skills. If nothing else, that means that they'll be adventurous enough to click around and ultimately find an email address to which they might send a query along the lines of "are you the sort of person whose work my instructor would accept in my bibliography?". I won't go so far as to claim that I purposefully made the navigation of my site into a challenge (it's hardly that) but there's a substantial difference between not being overly generous with "personal" information, and actually hiding it. I never actually did the latter.
