Until now at least.
Either I listened to reason, or I gave in. And probably a bit of both. While accumulating
and organizing the material for this particular column I was also editing part
of my main Hebrew site. The main
page of that site now contains a rather strategically situated box that explains
that for some strange reason people have wanted to know who the person who wrote
the stuff on the site is. That box in turn contains a
link to a page that houses what I suppose is a "professional" explanation.
That page clearly displays my name, and an email link. It lists enough of my credentials
to take the risk out of listing something I've written in a bibliography, yet
also carries a disclaimer that states that those credentials aren't necessarily
a reason to accept, or believe, the claims I make in my articles.
