Deserving of much more than passing mention.
Though the Boidem has occasionally dabbled in name-dropping, becoming a Who's
Who of digital culture has never been among its goals. Even so, it's rather strange
that after a decade of columns, this is the first time that Linda
Stone has found her way into these pages. She is, after all, someone with
whom not only the Boidem, but just about everybody else who tries to say something
of interest concerning how we live our digital lives, seems to always be trying to catch up. Stone seems to have been just about everywhere of significance, and
said something meaningful about it, well before most other observers of cyberspace.
And that's the case with multi-tasking and continuous partial attention as well.
