Taking care of business.
I don't want to appear overly belittling here. Following a sit-com demands knowing
the characters and what they've done. This definitely demands a certain degree
of concentration. Considering that most youth know the words to a vast number
of popular songs, they apparently are also able to focus on the words to the songs
that they hear while doing something else. Without a high degree of concentration,
it's very difficult to win a computer game. Perhaps the only activity previously
mentioned that doesn't demand clearly focused concentration is homework which
usually demands little more than filling in the blanks with answers readily found
on worksheets.
