Stop, you're both right!

I really don't have to choose. I can make use of whatever lo-tech tools get the job done, and keep my eyes open for the hi-tech ones that don't complicate things on their way to getting it done as well.

For some reason the association that came to mind while weighing the need to make a choice was that of a television commercial of at least a generation ago - for Certs candy/breath mints.

The details are definitely available somewhere (probably in numerous places) on the web. Basically, two actors (probably actresses) are arguing:
    "Certs is a candy mint".
"No, Certs is a breath mint".
And then the voice-over tells them/us:
    "Stop, you're both right!"

For some reason, when I tried to pull this commercial (or more to the point, what it was for) out from the far reaches of my memory, I confused it with a different, probably even more famous, commercial that today, were it distributed via e-mail, would immediately be filtered out as spam.
