Then what?
If we really can get to that one exact piece of information, how is it that somebody
else was looking for it as well? Do we all really want the same thing? True, many
of us are looking for that same Holy Grail; too many of us still think we can
find a Fountain of Youth; rather than reading a road map, too many of us expect
to stumble upon a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Though psychologists may
promise us that we all want to find the same thing, I'm not sure that they were
thinking along the lines of internet searches. Of course there must (still) be
an awful lot of people out there who want to find a picture of Pamela Anderson,
but I doubt that in a case such as this they would be overly concerned with finding
one exact photo. Most
of them are pretty much the same.
