During Mom's illness my sister was able to get to California to be by her a few times, and I was there once. The primary purpose of our visits was, of course, to be by Mom, but it was also important for us to give our brother a breather from his taxing task. When we visited, Mark was able to actually physically get to work, and also, and not less important, attend to some of his own family matters.
