I told you so!
As though proof of such a statement was actually needed,
as I was putting the finishing touches on this column I
noticed the advertisement below:
Actually, I don't think that I know anyone who found a mate via JDate,
though I do know a number of couples who got together either via a different online
dating service, or who met via some other (not purposefully romantic) online activity.
What's more, I'm not sure that an advertisement can legitimately be considered
proof. But the sentiment expressed certainly hints at the ubiquity of the phenomenon.
If it ever was, it's certainly no longer just for nerds and social misfits.
