And though I can't recall seeing a page such as this, it's probably been done as well, and might actually be quite interesting. Instead of titling the page "books I've read", it could be called "books other people have read", but in order to be done well, I wouldn't advise asking people to submit their lists, but instead creating a list of links to the lists that other people have posted.

I'm not going to do it, so if anybody's interested, please feel free to expound on the idea.
