Don't take my word for it.
Of course we can, and should, be sceptical without any connection to the internet,
but there seems to be an unwritten law that states that in "real life"
we know how to distinguish between truth and falsehoold, while on the internet
we're always in danger of trusting sources that we
shouldn't. Educators express great concern over the inability of pupils to distinguish
between trustworthy and unreliable sources on the web - apparently assuming that
they know how to do just this when it comes to printed
information.
