If one is willing to go beyond the first result, it's incredibly easy to find conflicting opinions on this matter. Since the truth (if there actually is such a thing) doesn't particularly concern me here, I don't feel much of a need to be objective. On the other hand, at least a bit of equal time is called for.

So, the people at the Real Climate web site seem to be serious scientists who take the issue of global warming very seriously. Lots of information can be found on their web site, including a critique of Crichton's book.
