My MSc Thesis in PDF format

MSc Research Topics:

·         Simulation of metal forming including large strain/ large displacement / plastic behavior of metal structures (using HKS/Abaqus)

·        In the following figure the axysimmetric portion of a deformed A5 Aluminum specimen is shown (together with the 1-D constitutive law obtained via experimentations), where the contour lines present the numerical simulated results obtained.

·        To obtain the friction coefficients between the specimen and the forming plate, the “ring-test” has been used, which has also been tested and simulated – as seen in the next figure.
