"Recent developments in high-Tc superconductivity theory"

Dr. Oron Zachar
Dept. of Physics, UCLA

More than 15 years after the discovery of high-Tc superconductivity, the theoretical foundations of the phenomenon are still an enigma. In the first part of the talk, we shall present a new perspective on our understanding of the properties of the t-J model and its relevance to the theory of high-Tc superconductivity. In the second part, we present a new model of pairing in stripe states of doped Coper-Oxides.
