Three lamps are in one room. The three
switches are in another. You can visit each room only once. How would you
tell which switch corresponds to which lamp?
In the switches room, turn on one switch, leave
the second off and turn the third on just for some time. In the lamp room,
one lamp will be on and two off. Out of these two, the warm one corresponds
to the one that was lit temporarily.
