Fecal Odor???

You may not think that bad breath and fecal odor are related, but they are. Certain kinds of fecal odor are strangely reminiscent of certain types of oral odor. Do they involve the same bacteria? Perhaps, but there aren't many bacteria that tend to live in both places. They may, on the other hand, involve breakdown of similar substances by similar metabolic pathways.
