- My (academic) CV, last updated April 2011.
-
Here is my PhD dissertation, entitles "Mijikenda Tonology". Comments are most welcome!
- My 2007 MA thesis on Giryama
tonology. You can also get the
Hebrew abstract.
- My PhD research proposal (approved
June 18, 2008) on Mijikenda tonology.
- Some handouts:
- Translations:
- Here are three poems by Hanoch Levin, which I translated into English with the help of my wife, Karine.
- Hebrew translations of some short stories by Chekhov. I did these for my own amusement
while I was studying Russian and before I started to translate professionally;
they are deliberately somewhat archaic.
- A translation of Chekhov's
The Seagull.
Some more plays here.
- Some reviews of my work as a translator (in
Hebrew). (Not all are rave reviews, I'm afraid).
