Deficit irrigation is a relatively novel approach for controlling grapevine growth and increasing fruit quality. The following chapters examine the implementation of the three different developments of deficit irrigation, discussed earlier on grapevines and the resulting effects on fruit growth and quality, wine quality and water conservation.
