General Information

Venue

ZOMES III will be held at The Berliner Ring Hotel ( http://www.berliner-ring.de ) Berlin (Dahlewitz) Germany. The Hotel is very pleasant and it has a brand new Conference center, and luxury facilities, including an indoor swimming pool.
 

Language

The official language will be English. All presentations and printed material will be in English.
 

Topics

List of topics will include:

1.       Interactions between the CSN, the proteasome and the eIF3 complex

2.       The CSN and cellular signaling

3.       Regulation and modulation of E3 ubiquitin ligases by the CSN

4.       Regulation of cell cycle and proliferation by ZOMES

5.       Allocation of functions between the lid and the base of the proteasome

6.       eIF3, regulation of translation and cross-talk with sister ZOMES
 

Abstracts 

Deadline for submission of Abstracts: February 15, 2004.
Some abstracts will be selected for oral presentation.

Instructions for submission of Abstracts:
Electronic submission by e-mail, attachment saved as Word for Windows or RTF file, not Mac. 
Up to 250 words, text single-space, net size for text, including titles: 17 cm long, 11.5 cm wide.
Don't form a frame. Font: Times New Roman size 11
Title: typed in upper case (caps). Full names of authors, presenting author underlined
institution, city, country.

The accompanying e-mail message should include the following:
1. The name of the Symposium: ZOMES III.
2. Full details of the submitting author (name, institution, faculty, dept. address, tel., fax, e-mail).
3. Session to which your abstract is suitable (1-6 above)
4. Your preference: oral presentation or poster. 
Please note: Any abstract submitted should be accompanied by registration form and fees.
