Arie Karniel has practiced engineering design,
product management and system engineering in aerospace, machatronics, and
software industries; having both practice and theory in Design and in Information Systems
Management.
He has received B.Sc and M.Sc in Mechanical Eng., and worked as mechanical
engineer in the Israeli Air Force. Additionally, he received MBA, with Information systems specialization. Practice: Project
manager of engineering software implementation in Israel air force; Business
analyst and project manager in Applied Material Israel; Product Manger in
Proficiency (CAD conversion product); Information systems consultant, specializing
in strategic engineering knowledge and process management.
During the PhD he was involved as a researcher and system engineer in a
multi-site development project, performing requirements analysis, system
specification, and project coordination. The project goal was developing a
Reverse Engineering process solution.
