I am a member of the Department of Plant Sciences at George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences in Tel Aviv University

My main research interests are in the field of plant ecophysiology, especially as related to root-system structure and function.
I am also interested in plant ecology and agro-ecosystems and in application of computer simulation to the study of ecological and physiological processes.

I was the secretary of the Israeli Society of Plant Sciences and I still maintain its web site. You can find there information regarding flowering of allergrnic plants in Israel, and a virtual album of Israeli plants.
