How to set up the proxy?

Directions for Netscape 2, 3 and gold users

  1. Click on "Options" in the top menu line
  2. Click on "Network Preferences"
  3. Choose "proxies"overlay
  4. Activate the Automatic Proxy Configuration (click the circle on the left)
  5. fill In Configuration location (URL) : http://www.tau.ac.il/tau.pac
    or http://www.tau.ac.il/bc.pac for business class
  6. Finally push the O.K. button !
Directions for Netscape Communicator (4) users
  1. In the"Edit" pull down menu click on "Preferences"
  2. Doubleclick "Advanced" in the Category tree and than choose "proxies"
  3. Follow the instructions 4-6 listed above

Directions for Microsoft Internet Explorer users

  1. Click on "View" in the top menu line
  2. Click on "internet options"
  3. Click on "connection"
  4. Choose "proxies" overlay
  5. In Automatic Configuration click on "configurate"
  6. fill In configuration location (URL) : http://www.tau.ac.il/tau.pac
    or http://www.tau.ac.il/bc.pac for business class
  7. Finally push the O.K. button !
